Dreamscape Collection: Saltwater and Skin
Senior Thesis 2023
A textile-focused garment collection birthed from fragmented poetry and the watery dreamscapes of my unconscious mind... fleeting dream remnants, resting just under the skin of my eyelids, brought to life by the dew of morning poetry.
This collection proposal is the sensory embodiment of my dreams using poetics to navigate the space between dreamscape and reality. Creating on the body while keeping my dream notes in mind helped to further define the connection that I share with the natural world, both in the dream realm as well as in waking life.
